The NCE 5240043 Cab06p is NCE’s intermediate cab — a step up from the basic Cab04 with a bright LED display that shows the selected locomotive address and key information at a glance. The “p” designates the potentiometer throttle knob: turn it up to go faster, down to slow, with a definite off position — the intuitive control style many operators (and every guest) understand instantly.
The Cab06p is the ideal additional throttle for an NCE layout: full speed and direction control, function access for lights and sound, and locomotive selection from the keypad — without the cost of a full Pro Cab. Hand one to each operator and keep the Pro Cab for programming.
Requires an NCE command station / system — this cab does not provide track power on its own.
